The primary scale for soloing over this progression is G major pentatonic (G A B D E), which is very similar to the series of notes that makes up B minor pentatonic (B D E F# A); notice that the only note that differs between the two is, in B minor pentatonic, an F# in place of the G. This means that one can easily substitute F# for G when playing over Bm and then switch back to G over the other chords in the progression.
