Watch the Don't You Love Me?: Lead 2 online guitar lesson by Andy Aledort from Jam Night Vol. 3
In this solo, I begin one octave higher than in the previous example, simply transposing the main lick up to 13th position. Over the D chord, I lean on thirds which relate directly to the D7 chord, after which I move higher on the board and play lines based on A minor pentatonic. Through the rest of the solo, I move freely between minor and major pentatonic phrases in the key of A, utilizing a variety of oblique bends in different positions.
