Watch the Don't You Love Me?: Rhythm 2 online guitar lesson by Andy Aledort from Jam Night Vol. 3

As a harmonized line, the lick played here in place of the signature lick harmonizes all of the notes a third higher within the structure of (diatonic to) the A Mixolydian scale (A B C# D E F# G). A Mixlydian approach is then used for all of the sliding doublestop sixth patterns played over the four and five chords: over the four chord, D9, D Mixolydian is used (D E F# G A B C) and over E9, E Mixolydian is used (E F# G# A B C# D). These sliding sixths are sounded in pairs that move through different string parings.
