Reggae rhythms are often built from syncopated patterns played in rhythms based on 16th notes, and that is the approach used here in laying down a part that combines eighth-note accents with upbeat 16th-note accents. Stylistically, I like the sound of close-voiced chords, so the chordal movement from C-G/B-Am-F is very minimal in terms of positional shifts on the fretboard.
