Watch the Jonesing For Trouble Solo 1 online guitar lesson by Chris Buono from Guitar Lab: Blues Soloing

Jonesing For Trouble returns to a lower tempo. To be sure you don't give in to a certain temptation that normally overruns upcoming blues soloists, I'm gonna call you out before you even get started: PLAY LESS! I know, I know: Everyone always says that and then you hear a guy like SRV decimate a jam like this. Well, for starters, he's Stevie Ray Vaughan people, c'mon now. A guy like that is coming from a place we only dream of so let's leave it at that. As for us mere mortals, it's best to approach a slow jam with restraint, control and respect. You need to relax, lay back and choose your notes AND phrasing wisely. It may sound a bit corny, but let the music take you for the ride. Try not to be a guitar jock, let your head drop back and just play what feels right.
