Watch the Sweet 16 Solo 1 online guitar lesson by Chris Buono from Guitar Lab: Blues Soloing

When it comes to the gnarly sound of double stops nothing beats a well placed, biting two-note snippet especially when it's chord tone appropriate like the ones strewn throughout these three solos. You'll go from slurred 3rds via grace note hammer-ons to straight up major 3rds (bar 7, both back in the first chorus) to double stop bends (all over this second chorus) all the way to arpeggiated minor 3rds (bars 11 and 12, in the upcoming third chorus) and come out of it a double-stop commando ready for action.
