Watch the Minor of the Harmonic Kind online guitar lesson by Chris Buono from Guitar Lab: Blues Soloing
Upping the tempo a bit from Minor Au Naturale and switching over to a harmonic minor feel, these next three solos will delve outside the foundational minor pentatonic scale heard in the first eight bars of each solo and dip into straight up harmonic minor-laced cadences in bars 11-12. The sound is intoxicating to say the least and you'll instantly be a harmonic minor convert.
Just like the previous third chorus solo, all three pay close attention to what's being played behind them. Take note as to how that's done differently within this set. This will once again come in handy when the burden of soloing is bestowed upon you all night long - like that's something to complain about!
