Watch the On My Trail online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from Blues Guitar Fakebook: Rhythm Vol. 2

Robert Johnson's influence on the blues cannot be overlooked. I didn't realize growing up I was listening to Robert Johnson when I was listening to Cream's version of "Crossroads", or the Stones version of "Love in Vain", or Zep's version of "Traveling Riverside Blues". The list goes on of cover versions of Robert Johnson's material. He died at age 27 and left only 29 songs and 12 alternate takes.
