Watch the No More Trouble online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from Blues Guitar Fakebook: Rhythm Vol. 2

What we basically have here is the Allman Brothers' "Trouble No More", which has become a modern blues classic. Although originally a Muddy Waters song, the Allman Brothers version is usually the one we think about. Well, me anyway...

This tune is a little tricky due to the form and the odd number of bars. We can approach this in two way: We can count while playing, which can be a little difficult and distracting, or base it off of the lyrics. Interestingly enough, when I've played this song, it's always been with the singer, and I never realized that it had an unusual form until I put this course together. So, what do ya know? I always learn something putting these courses together!
