"I'm Tore Down" was released in 1961 and quickly became a blues standard covered by many artists including Eric Clapton. The song was actually written by King's pianist Sonny Thompson.
"I'm Tore Down" uses a classic "downtown" riff as I discuss in the video. This is great terminology to know for any blues musician as these slangs are ubiquitous. They also save a lot of time on the bandstand!
