Watch the Gee Shuff Solo 1 online guitar lesson by David Hamburger from Slide Shop

This solo is something of an adaptation of the Duane Allman approach, discussed in one of the open D lessons, to the open G
tuning. All the same kinds of moves will work here in G: spelling out the IV and V chord while staying basically in one
position, using right hand muting and quick string crossings to create harmonica style licks, and combining more stacatto
chromatic runs with longer, sustaining notes. Although I doubt he thought of it quite that way.
