Watch the The Longest Road online guitar lesson by Kelly Richey from Blues Grit
Overview of Jam Track (Chord Chart included) and Intro to how I approach both Rhythm Guitar and Lead Guitar Soloing using Major Pentatonic. This is an original song that I wrote and it’s main chord progression consists of a l, ii, iii (Cmaj, Dmin, Emin), and requires the use of a major pentatonic. I felt it important to cover at least one song using a major pentatonic to insure that you have the opportunity to work with a rhythm track and play a major instead of minor pentatonic scale. Note: Blues music often incorporates the use of minor and major pentatonic scales woven together. This is not something covered in this series, but is addressed in my other teaching formats.
