Watch the Blues Booster online guitar lesson by Robert Renman from Blues Booster
Thanks for picking up this course, I had a blast putting it together! I have given you a bit of insight to my approach to playing lead guitar. Even though I mostly play blues, I do have some jazz influence in my playing. That jazz influence, combined with the rock, blues and country styles that I'm also influenced by, leads to the style of playing I have. If you ask me what style I play, I wouldn't know what to say! I do think what's typical of my style is that chord tones and rhythmic phrasing are key ingredients. You can often hear which chord I'm playing over, even if I'm just playing with bass and drums. So, I sincerely hope you enjoyed this course and that you can take some of these concepts I've shared with you, and fuse them into your own playing. I believe that the more you can learn, from a variety of sources and from a variety of styles, the more you end up sounding like "YOU", and not a copy of someone else. In fact, over time, I don't think you can help it! I also believe this is a good thing.
