Now you have seen some of the tools I use, let's see how we can use them when playing a solo. I'll use more than one concept per solo, because in real life, you want to play from your heart, so to speak. The goal with practicing certain concepts like these I've talked about, is to make them part of your playing, so that you can draw upon them without thinking. In other words, it becomes instinctive, and that's what you want to achieve in the end. Too much thinking tends to lead to boring playing.
