This shape of the A minor pentatonic is great for coming up with slinky licks like this one. The main reason for that is that you have two minor third intervals on the third and fourth strings. Notorious territory for us guitarists!

I added the major 6th (F#) to give me a semi tone bend in the 16th note lick at the top of bar 2. This is a 6th or a 13 against the chord and can be considered a chromatic passing tone.
