Watch the Man of the Roadhouse online guitar lesson by Corey Congilio from 50 Progressive Blues Licks You MUST Know

One of my influences early on was Jeff Healy. I saw Jeff open for the Allman Brothers in 1990 and I was blown away by his passion and aggressive blues playing. One of my favorite recordings is his record Cover To Cover. The album is all cover tunes and he does the classic Robert Johnson tune Stop Breakin' Down. This is a great lick that he plays in G.

The cool thing about this lick is that you can play it in its entirety over the last four bars of a twelve bar blues. Let's try this one.
