Watch the In The Mix online guitar lesson by Corey Congilio from 50 Blues Rhythms You MUST Know
The great thing about learning barre chords is that they contain the framework for other chords.
I'd say from this point on, we'll start breaking the barres apart and using pieces of them to create new rhythm ideas. We'll also start to incorporate chord shapes we've already learned. We'll take those shapes and move them around the neck to create hip patterns. #13 introduces one of my favorite 7th chord inversions. I use this shape over the I chord. I'll bring in barre chords for the IV or V chord as well as shapes we used in our open position examples.
Now we're cookin' - let's go!
