Watch the Watch It Turnaround online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from 30 Sweet Blues Licks You MUST Know
As you can see by now, the two previous licks put together with this one form a full 12 bars of a blues. So, put them together and you'll have a taste of some legitimate Peter Green inspired soloing. The inspiration for these licks comes from a song called "Watch Out" on Fleetwood Mac's Blues Jam in Chicago recording. I've mentioned this solo earlier because it's so well played and improvised.
Peter's tone is one of legend as well, as he was the owner of one of the most famous Les Paul's in rock and roll. It was his, then Gary Moore bought it from Green. Gary had to sell it in a messy divorce I believe, and it found its way to Kirk Hammett of Metallica. The rumored sale price was close to one million dollars. So, a number only someone in Metallica could afford!
