Watch the Dark Skies online guitar lesson by Robbie Laws from 30 Penta Sonic Blues Licks You MUST Know

A minor pentatonic diagonal pattern #2.
This lick has a real dark moody feel, with a contemporary mix of jazz and blues to it. You'll begin at the 10th fret of the D string using your index finger, then shift to your 3rd finger on the 12th fret of the D string and slide up a 1/2 step to the 13th fret and then back down to the 12th fret of the D string using your 3rd finger. Lastly, you'll pull-off to the 10th fret of the D string with your index finger.

Now drop down to the 12th fret of the A string with your 3rd finger, hitting your root note A, and then to the 10th fret using your index finger. Go on to the 12th fret of the low E string 12th fret with your 3rd finger, and back up to the 10th fret of the A string with your index finger. Finish with your 3rd finger on the A string at the 12th fret.
