Watch the Love For All online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from 30 Authentic Blues Grooves You MUST Know
The original version of "All You Love" was recorded by Otis Rush and is a must know track. My first exposure to this tune was on the legendary John Mayall's Bluesbreakers record featuring Eric Clapton. The record is required listening for any guitar player as it is the blueprint for the British blues. Often referred to as the Beano record due to the comic Clapton is reading on the cover. The record is the hallmark of the modern rock guitar sound and is considered to be one of the the holy grails of tone. A Les Paul through an early Marshall JTM45 2x12 combo cranked, yup that is rock and roll my friends. Personally, I wish he never picked up a Strat - please no hate mail - just listen to this record before you judge me!
