Watch the Lesson 7 online guitar lesson by David Hamburger from Fingerstyle Blues Handbook 1

The E licks in this lesson are closely related to the kind of things an electric blues guitarist might use to solo with. The two main differences are, we're playing in open position, and we're sliding from note to note where an electric guitarist might bend the string instead. Acoustic blues guitarists tend to slide instead of bend because the wound third string and heavier gauge second and first strings are harder to bend than most electric guitar string gauges. Plus, sliding sounds cool too. >> Reference Source: Ry Cooder (http://www.greenmanreview.com/rycooderomnibus.html)
