Watch the Lesson 13 online guitar lesson by David Hamburger from Fingerstyle Blues Handbook 2

I like to use light gauge phosphor bronze strings on my acoustic guitars, which include a mid-50s Martin 00-28, a 1930s National Trojan and a recent National Estralita Deluxe. For the past several years I've used John Pearse strings, which I discovered when I started playing squareneck dobro - they were some of the only people making squareneck-gauged sets then, and they sounded amazing, so I began putting them on my standard guitars as well. The light gauge acoustic guitar set has an .012 on top.
