In this example, we're going to take a look at a half-step bend. I know that we've been using the D minor pentatonic scale for all these examples, but please note that this half-step is not actually contained in a minor pentatonic scale. Since the minor pentatonic scale is derived from a minor scale which contains half-steps, we're borrowing from that. A fun exercise is to bend from a half-step below to the flatted third of the scale and the flat seven.
