Watch the Freakin' on IV online guitar lesson by Andy Aledort from 30 Beginner Slide Blues Guitar Licks You MUST Know

Returning to the slow blues idiom, in this lick I take the phrase that I had demonstrated in Lick 17 over the one chord, A, and move it to the four chord, D, with the slide positioned at the fifth fret. We begin with a two-note double stop on the top two strings and then resolve the lick to the D root note at the fifth fret of the third string. As always, aim for true intonation and a nice, slow and wide vibrato.
