Harmonics are going to be covered more in the later stages of this course, but here's the first time this technique is used. The trick to getting the harmonic to sound is placing your finger on the 12th fret of your G string, but don't push the note down to the fretboard...just rest it there and then pluck with your right hand and you'll get the harmonic to sound. Learning to play chordally is another technique that we will cover later, but here's your first exposure to it in this course. Here we're playing Diads, or two note chords outlining a G triad diatonically. First we play a G major 10th, slide to a B minor 10th, then to a D sus and up to the G major 10th again.
