Watch the Perfect Fourth online guitar lesson by Kai Eckhardt from Atomic Bass: Reactive Intervals

This groove by default has a jazz/rock sound reminiscent of Freddie Hubbard's "Red Clay" or Eddie Harris' "Freedom Jazz Dance". Rhythmically the two bars of 4/4 are divided into the 5, 5, 6 when counting 8th notes. The result is a polyrhythmic feel with the first two motifs moving across the bar line and catching up at the end of the cycle.
