Watch the Major Second online guitar lesson by Kai Eckhardt from Atomic Bass: Reactive Intervals
This major second/whole tone variation includes a little choreography which happens to line up in 4/4 time. It repeats after 8 beats and works well with a click track or drum machine. Each pattern is played twice and this time we visit the tonal centers G, G# and A. When you try to go for speed follow this order of priorities: Learn to play it at a very slow tempo with confidence, even time and good tone. Make sure the notes are nice and long (legato) instead of short and choppy. After reaching that stage, speed it up to make it a bit more challenging and get to the same level of confidence and articulation. Repeat this process until you've reached the desired tempo.
