Watch the Run Around online guitar lesson by Freekbass from 50 Freekbass Licks You MUST Know

With this lick I am moving through some chord changes (G to C to Bb to D). The same way a jazz bassist will do a walking bassline bridging the changes together, I am doing something similar with a lot of the techniques we have already talked about to where all four chords start sounding like one whole complete line. You will hear some of the "rhythm guitar type" up and downstroke, and also a bit of the hard mute (again not fully pressing down on each note), and a little bit of palm muting.

This line is dictated by both the chord changes, and what the drum loop made me feel would fit within the syncopation of the loop.
