This line I based off of this beat creating a counter-rhythm that locks in with the boot, kind of creating a loop. The end of the line I almost think of a horn type trill with the phrasing. Like we have discussed with other lines, keep the note short, punchy, even, and steady.
Also, I am attacking the minor 3rd (C on the A string) a little heavier both for rhythmic feel, and for melodic sense. At the beginning of the line I go from an A on the 5th fret of the E string, to a G on the 3rd fret of the E. But before hitting that G, I hit a ghost note to make it move a little more. With ghost notes, try and make sure you attack them as hard with your right hand as you would with an actual real note, so that percussive feel is felt.
