This line is a very boxy one. What I mean is that almost every movement is a whole step. It is rooted in D minor pentatonic, but like the line "In One Place" a couple of segments ago, I am choosing different spots on the neck to do my hammers for the strongest tone.
The majority of the lick is hammer-ons starting on a low F on the 1st fret of the E string, and working up to the 10th fret on the G string. I wanted to mention about hammer-ons, make sure that each note of the hammer the listener cannot tell that it is a hammer-on. In other words, both notes (including the hammered note) should be equally strong or dominant. That is what really makes the line pop.
