Watch the C At The Palms - UP online guitar lesson by Freekbass from 50 Freekbass Licks You MUST Know
This is the same lick as "C At The Palms", but up an octave. I always like hearing a lick I create in different octaves to see how the feel and sound is, and sometimes I will stack them in a loop on my loop station which I will show you a bit later.
With this version, I am starting on the 10th fret (C) on my D string. Again using my thumb as a pick, and doing a dampening palm mute with my right hand between each note. Even though we are in a different octave than the last version, you still want to strive to make each note sound as similar as the lower note in both attack, feel, and length.
