Watch the A-Minor Blister online guitar lesson by Freekbass from 50 Freekbass Licks You MUST Know
With this lick I start by using an upstroke-ghost-mute before the "1" hits on the last 16th note of the 4th beat. You do not hear it so much, as feel it. Then I hammer from the minor 7th (the G) up to the root note (the A) on the E string. I then repeat this up the octave with a pluck.
At the end of the lick I am doing a triplet hammer pluck feel from the minor third (C) to the 4th (the D). That is created by hitting the open A string with your right hand thumb, and hammering up to the C (3rd fret) and then plucking the octave of C on the G string.
