Watch the Kansas City Shuffle online guitar lesson by David Santos from 50 Bass Grooves You MUST Know

Another 12 bar blues, Kansas City Shuffle utilizes a very well known bass line from the blues box. It is very similar to #13 Chicago Shuffle and just as important to know. It uses the same notes from The Blues Box except that they are backwards or inverted. There is a unison bass line in bar 12 used as a turnaround. This tune has an intro that starts on the five and has a unison lick on bar 4 of the intro that is slightly different from the unison lick in bar 12 of the form. Learn them both and know the difference.
