Watch the Slap Happy Breakdown 3 online guitar lesson by Matthieu Brandt from Slap, Frail, & Thump

Slap Happy Breakdown 3
Another way of giving a slap groove some extra force is to play a slap on every beat. In 'Slap Happy' we're going to throw in two bars that use that feel. These slaps are best played with the palm of your hand (on the bridge of the guitar or the bottom part of the strings) and not with your fingers. You need all the time you can get to keep the melody and bass motion going. It's going to be impossible to do that if you also slap the notes with the top of your fingers.
The Jam button will play you Example 105.
