Billy Brooks' Bounce Breakdown 3
We can use the framework of Billy Brooks' Bounce to add all kinds of extra effects.
The type of accompaniment we're using here gives us a strong basis to sing over. We can add all the variations when we're NOT singing to keep a strong pulse and not distract ourselves or the audience. With hammer-ons and pull-offs we can easily add some extra melody notes. Another trick we can use here is to use a pedal note on the V chord A. This is a bass note that is continuously played throughout a certain section of the song, while the chords on top keep changing.
