Watch the Smolderin' online guitar lesson by David Hamburger from New School Fingerstyle
Guy Van Duser began as a huge Chet Atkins fan, then spent a good deal of his time working out arrangements of the stride pianists like James P. Johnson and Fats Waller. He dubbed his approach "stride guitar," and rightly so. He makes covering as much ground as he does sound easy and relaxed and, like Jerry Reed and John Knowles, does it all on a nylon string guitar.
