Watch the At Tempo Playalong: Variation 4 online guitar lesson by Tierra Negra from Magic Gypsy Chords & Rhythms

I place the capo at the 2nd fret.

For variation 4 you play a barre chord in the 9th position, go down to the 7th position with the major chord, then you play the G in the 10th position, which looks like a C-major chord, but the open strings gives the chord a flamenco sound. Shift the G one fret down and you hear the F#-Phrygian – strum the open strings here as well. Take care that you play the right bass note when you switch to G and to the F#-Phrygian. Also try to play the arpeggio with the (i), (m) and (a) fingers on the G-, B- and E-string.
