Watch the Sea Rose Beach online guitar lesson by Stephen Bennett from Harp Guitar Repertoire
There were some fun "Aha" moments during the composition of the bridge section of SRB. One is the chord with harmonics that occur around 2:00. The 7th fret D major harmonics along with the sub-bass G make the tastiest G major 9 chord coming out of the B minor chord just before. Stop drooling -- you'll mess up your instrument.
Another "Aha" moment starts around 3:05. The descending bass line that starts on the F# -- combined with the ascending melodic line -- was a blast to find. The ear always loves when musical parts are going in opposite directions. Contrary motion -- seek it out whenever possible!
Then at 6:20 or so, a variant of this line occurs.
