Watch the Poor Wayfaring Stranger - 5 online guitar lesson by Richard Kiser from Gospel Fingerstyle Guitar

The chorus is fairly easy once you have learned the verse because the last part of the chorus melody is played much like the verse. On the first line of the chorus, I am playing an "F" in the 5th fret inversion but notice that the fingering for this chord is done in two forms. The reason for this is simply to keep the bass and melody lines out front and easy to reach. When you play the walkdown on the bass back to the "E" chord, it should be played with the thumb and you can use your fingers to play the triad of the "E" chord on the first three strings along with that bass walkdown. It gives a great effect. The remainder of this chorus is to be played the way it was covered in the previous lesson
