Metronome Time Signatures
Select your desired time signature using this drop down.
Metronome BPM Display
This displays your selected (BPM) beats per minute.
Metronome ON/OFF
Turn the metronome ON and OFF.
Metronome Slider
Drag this slider to adjust BPM (beats per minute).
Rewind
Click to rewind (5 seconds per click).
Play/Pause
Click to play or pause video.
Fast Forward
Click to fast forward (5 seconds per click).
Progress Bar
Progress bar, time code and marker (drag marker to any desired section of video).
Mute
Click to mute audio.
Volume Slider
Adjust volume by sliding bar to the left or right.
Help Button
Click for on-board help guide and keyboard shortcuts: Keyboard Shortcuts “1” - Force hi bit rate video file “2” - Force medium bit rate file
“3” - Force low bit rate file “4” - Engages auto-detect scheme “Space bar” - Play/pause “Right Arrow” - Fast forward “Left Arrow” - Rewind “Up Arrow” - Set loop start “Down Arrow” - Set loop end “Insert” - Start/Stop loop
Fullscreen
Click to watch video full screen. Click again to return video to normal view.
Start Loop
Click to specify “start” location in video segment to begin loop.
End Loop
Click to specify “end” location in video segment to end loop.
Loop Activate
Once start/stop looping markers have been set, click to “activate” looping. Click again to stop looping.
Slow Motion
Click and select desired setting for slow motion video. Click “normal” to return to normal speed. Audio is turned off when video is slowed down.
Chart
Click to open notation and tab chart when available with the lesson. Chart is PDF file and needs Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view.
Powertab
Click to open Powertab file when available with lesson. Powertab MUST be installed (installer included on your CD-ROM). Powertab works only in Windows BUT Mac users can download the Powertab files and import into Guitar Pro 5 or later.
Jam
Click to play practice rhythm track when available with the lesson. This opens audio player below screen and freezes video until you click "close."
