 Pino started his career very young in his native Argentina. In the late seventies he moved to Los Angeles where he studied with Ted Greene and Joe Diorio who became his mentor and with whom he performed duos extensively. A clinician and former instructor at G.I.T , Grove School of Music and Jazz Masters Workshop in San Francisco, Marrone has played and recorded with Dianne Reeves, Joe Farrell, Jimmy Haslip, Kenny Kirkland, John Patitucci and Herb Alpert among others. He also writes instructional articles for GUITAR PLAYER magazine. His latest CD, UNDER THE INFLUENCE, features trios, duos and solos with Joe Diorio, John Pisano, Bob Magnusson, Putter Smith and Dick Weller.
