      Thumbs down TrueFire Logo Picture Contest Extended

      TrueFire.com
      Due to some technical issues, we've decided to extend the deadline of our Hot Shot Photo Contest - http://truefire.at/HotShot - until March 31st. Please make sure your photo entry has a TrueFire logo in it, and extra bonus points for no photoshop! Only a few people actually followed the directions explicitly, so we're trying to keep an open mind, but those people who submitted their entry correctly will be finalists!

      When I looked in on this Contest early on I saw a great many of the entries either without the TrueFire Logo and those which were Photoshop jobs. Mostly bad at that. Anyways - Another chance for those of you who can print up a TrueFire Logo, have that Logo cut into the grass or painted on your roof. All for a good Cause! A Guitar for yourself! But it is a Facebook Contest and you would have to join Facebook. Personally both me and my bird have joined Facebook and haven't got any misery from it so far. I did order something from the Current catalog and immediately started getting phone spam so don't order anything from the Current Catalog for goodness sakes.

      I think 1 pic is the limit. I had a couple I was going to post but the one I threw up there is all it would let me do. I would have posted a different one had I known that.

      Yah, I didn't enter after I read the no Photoshop bit. Although I'm wondering if I can make a photoshop picture, run it from my TV, have me standing there along side the picture on my TV, wearing my TrueFire shirt, holding one of guitars with printed TrueFire Logo's on it. Humm. I'm thinking about it. Hardest part is finding the chord to my WD thingee which is a harddrive that I can connect to the TV after having made the picture, put it on the mobile harddrive, then connect it to the TV. I'm getting tired out just thinking about it.

      Thanks kindly, I'm just now getting my bearings around here in the Florida. - So those ten minute photoshop pictures actually can take ten minutes.
      Still and all, that picture wouldn't be good for the contest - sometimes I curse myself for my ability to read and comprehend rules and stuff.

      Default Okay - I entered a picture

      A compromise - a picture of a photoshop on the TV with the Tee-Shirt, with the Courses, with the TrueFire Leather Guitar Strap. I'd have put more but I was kind of in a hurry to get it done. Darn WD Drive wasn't working for some reason which I'll have to figure out, so I put the pic on the TV via a laptop. Got Red's Course in the Picture, one of the Robbie Courses', The Efficient Guitar up there as well as some ever popular Larry Carlton Courses. Ta Da.

      thanks olshepp, I am Colorado born, military brat raised and world gypsy at heart. In Colorado at the moment, getting the house pit up for sale then back to Florida and pricing fishing boats. Panama hat time?

      Wolfbo' - Same thing happened to me...I had about 24 images and sorted them alphabetically so I'd be able to keep track..& the first one I submitted was the only one allowed...& not at all my first choice...I did think enough to ask Zach to purge it for me so I could submit a better one.
