Red face Nominations on Published List so far!

Hi Gang, I am starting this thread to help us all keep up with the nominees who have already been published in the on going list of 100+ Gifted Guitarists You Should Know.

I suppose the easiest way to do this would be just to post the following link to the page and let you see for yourself those players whose information has been published as of now. Remember, this list continues to grow as you continue to nominate and cast an approving "AYE!" for players not already published on the list and that qualify according to the criteria found in Brad's "sticky" post. Here is the link for that info: http://truefire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6116

Here is a link to see the players who are already on the published list of 100+ Gifted Guitarists You Should Know. Be sure to click on the "MORE" icon because there are 10 guitarists in each of the Parts.

I will post an update each week as new players are published on the list!

    Red face Hi Robin!

Welcome to the forum! Hope you have a great time here. It is a grand place for all things guitar related. We were all new once so don't worry, but let me help make your new nominations.
First, nominate each individual player by going to the the section "Gifted Guitar Players You Should Know" (that is the one you are in now actually). Then start a NEW THREAD for each one you wish to nominate. There should be a "Thread Starter" tab at the top of the page somewhere to help you do this.

Label the new thread in the title box like "Nomination: Player's Name (Joe Schmoo, Tutie Fruitie, you get the idea)"

In your first post just say why you would like to nominate them and post a link to a video of them from You-tube or something if you can. That part is not required, but it is very helpful for others to see and second the nomination or cast their "AYE!" votes for your player.

Brad has a thread in here telling what the qualifications are for nominated players. This is the link to it http://truefire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6116.
Basically they must play well, be alive and active, and not be a common household name like Chet Atkins, BB King, or Eric Clapton. So go ahead and have some fun with it.
Hope this helps. Again, welcome to the forum. By the way, I am not sure where he is these days, but Kessinger used to teach a few miles from where I live. Good nominations, so please do make nomination threads for each of these folks. Let me know if I can help.

You got some great list there. I don't know all of them but I am at least familiar with most of them. I say you have good taste... I'd say we both have good taste.
