Hi there Julluso. The first thing I'd ask is whether or not you have the same issues with other online video sites. What works and what doesn't work? The second thing I would ask would be whether or not things worked before and if so, what changed? I've had issues with updates in various programs, for instance Firewalls sometimes update and then cut you off. Some of them need to have sites you visit 'white listed' to get them to work. I'm not running Windows 7, does anyone with Windows 7 have an issue with TrueFire TV? I know a Java update once messed with my computer. There's some place to start before Ren - computer guru guy gets over here. Sorry that you are having troubles and thanks for coming to the forum to try to get them figured out.

Hi Gadlaw. thanks for responding so fast;)
No i have non other issues with other flash websites or anything. Yes it worked when i first enteret the Truefire website, but after i had bought student level 2, it just didnīt work all the time. now i really canīt get it to work at all. The flash content on all sites does work, its just the tv player that is stuck in loading mode all the time. I have tried to wait a while to see if it would finish loading, but it bugs my browsers.

im happy that you will help me so i can get to rock!!!

If it's stuck in loading mode, as in buffering, I'm guessing there might be a bandwidth issue. Do you have a high speed connection? Is something else eating your bandwidth? Is there malware causing the problem? Those are things I would look at.
Try running malware/virus scans, (I use malwarebytles and Avira) Also try running cleanup software (I use CCleaner) Also try closing any other programs that might eat bandwidth to see if they are causing problems.

I'll point this thread out to Ren and see if he has any additional ideas for you to try.

Hang in there, we'll help you get through this!

Well, Julluso said it worked before and the flash content works at other sites, let's make sure Ren knows that part. I sent him an email yesterday, I'll send Julluso's response to him as well, and cc the man to boot.

I have the same issue with TF. Started monday. Yesterday between 17.00 and around 19:00 UTC it was okay, but when I tried again around 20:00 UTC it stuck at loading.
I have no problem whatsoever on any other sites.
I suspected a node at TF, but I guess more people would have the problem if that is the cause..
Unfortunately I won't get the change to test at other computers through other networks till tomorrow, so I'll wait a bit to call on Ren

hey guys - we dont have any otehr trouble reports from the isps, network folks or other students and so this may be a local issue? but that woudl nto explain why otehr flash sites are working and ours is not.

can you call us (ask for ren) and we'll troubleshoot to try to figure out what's happening.

    hang tough!

    Lightbulb Think I solved it

Thanks for the heads up Brad
This added a few grey hair, because everywhere else on the whole darn Internet, flash was working flawless - including the TF Green Room (hosted outside TF).
I ran netstat quite some times, and found that Firefox did not communicate with truefire.com when browsing the TFTV. Only google and Facebook showed in the stats.
Different story on the main TF page (flash working and all) and forum - Firefox did connect with Truefire.com on those pages.

Although it seemed to be a bit of a wild goose I thought it could be a DNS problem (using the default ones at my ISP, Stofanet/Telia).

I switched to Open DNS and voila! Truefire TV works like a charm!
I still find it odd but, hey it works

    The Open DNS servers are:
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

You're welcome mate. Glad you can enjoy your level 2 subscription .
At a glance the streaming and everything is uploaded from truefire.com, so it nags me that my default DNS had resolving problems. And I can be very persistent when something nags me, so I'll dig into this a little more at some point

    Have a nice weekend
