The Apocalypse, the end. With troops in Korea preparing for war, with Israel preparing to blow up Iranian Nuclear facilities and Syria and Hezbollah stacking up their missiles to attack Israel, with the Oil Apocalypse coming to the Gulf Coast and up into the Atlantic (remember now Dawn Dish washing liquid commercials aren't the answer - where do you release those birds that you clean up anyways?) With all this happening it's time to step up and prepare our end of the world CD Mixes. Anyways, those are things I was thinking about when I inadvertently clicked on this HORRIFIC Cover of The Final Countdown. It's on youtube, it's a bunch of guys in black with actual guitars and a stage and everything. Don't drink milk in front of your computer when you click on this link, I cannot be held responsible for shorted out keyboards or embarrassment when someone sees you looking at this. I have seen no music video that is as Terrible as is that one. I don't know who sang 'The Final Countdown' but they should get right on that and get that taken down as a crime against humanity. And it's no fair not listening to the whole thing. That should be part of a Frat or gang initiation - you must listen to this version of the Final Countdown - only then do we know that you can endure pain and suffering.

Then I'm watching and I see a guy come from backstage and turn one of the guitarists tuning pegs like as if that will make a difference?

I certainly hope so, you know, if your momma don't like ya, then you might as hang it up. I admire the dude for going out there and trying even in the face of overwhelming evidence that he sucked most definitely. His dad probably bought all the instruments for the guys so they didn't say anything to him. I think if he wants to continue to sing he's got two choices.

Under normal circumstances these comments would spark my curiosity and I would give the song a listen. I think I will let common sense reign here and stay away from the link. If that many people are having that much trouble making it through the song, I don't see any point in watching it

I don't know JR, looks like I see you there on stage. You should listen - but not have any pointy objects nearby should be compelled to try to pierce your eardrums to make it stop.
