    Default New Guy...

    Hiya Gang,

Names Jesse and im new here. I've been teaching myself guitar for about a year now and got turned on to truefire by a bud over at the Dean forums. I have to say going back and doing the beginner lesson stuff has helped me fixed the few bad habits i had already started.

i just hope that these 39 year old fingers can get to working properly...lol

and as requested i have to post alittle pron of my gear which is far from spectacular....

The Cadillac is a one off custom that the guys at Dean gave me a hell of a deal on so i had to get it before knowing how to play it...lol

into a Zoom G2 in turn into my computer to be able to follow along with the video lessons...

and off to the side collecting dust is a 10W Kustom '66 dart ...lol

Hmmmm.... A custom Dean Cadillac before you could even play, now that's what I call a motivator

Nice looking guitars Jesse, thanks for sharing. Looking at those guitars just makes me think you need something with tubes and the word Marshal on the front. Great start for a youngster

Also since you are just getting into this wonderful hobby take a look at CAGED Cracked, basic info I would have loved to know back in my 30s

Torr that is an awesome slogan for Truefire. I wonder what Brad would think of it?

    Hello Huflung,

Welcome to the forums. We're glad your buddy on the Dean page pointed you our way. Those are definitely some nice looking guitars. I like how you have them hanging on the wall. I bought a few things to hang mine, just haven't done so yet. I think the products I bought are called String Swings. One of these days I will get around to getting them installed. I have heard that is the best way to store guitars.

A lovely pair of Dean Guitars there - Dean Guitars are of course used by Trent Reznor of NIN and I do love my NIN. Thanks for the excellent pictures, I like the wood finished one the best cause wood is my favorite. I did not know there was a Dean forum and you know I regret not picking up one of those black Dean's that Trent was using the last tour I saw him live. Cool stuff, welcome again to the forum.

Default What about the Beer Collection......

    Welcome,

Nice guitars indeed, you will find plenty of great stuff here to get you going and then some. Now what about the beer bottle collection? Might be an idea for a contest to name as many brands as possible based only on your photo......
