Another in a long line of incredible cats from the DC area. He was the hottest session man in Nashville (Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, Roseann Cash, and many others) before the Eagles finally fired their lead guitar player and called him to join them in mid-tour about, what 3-4 years back. Their CD from Austrailia features some fantastic playing by Steuart. One thing about his playing-other than covering the Eagles licks, his style is cliche-free-highly unusual.
Here he is with Rodney-smoldering hot on one of my all-time fave's Rodney's "Ain't Livin' Long"

Here he is with Roseann-with a song probably about Rodney-her ex hubby: "My Baby Thinks He's a Train" looks like a younger Steuart here

One more with Rodney: "Let Freedom Ring"
