Here is another one man internet dynamo. A quiet well spoken dynamo that is. He's been on the YouTube as long as I have been looking for Guitar Guidance. He's German, he does video tutorials in German and then the same songs in English. He gets up with I think his daughter and then with his friend, singing songs and playing guitar for the camera and he's a music teacher in Germany. A ton of videos, over 200 I believe, Instructional Guitar, performance and after a long time at free YouTube videos he's had first one and now two videos for sale. His YouTube Channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/siggi5153
His Website - http://www.siggimertens.de/frontend/index.html#START

Not as polished as some folks on the web but he is a presence to be sure and another one of the Who's Who of Guitar 2010 as far as I'm concerned. :clapping:

Aye for Sir Siggi. Wow, Gadlaw!
:clapping:
I had been watching some of the other nominations' blazing riffs and wasn't initially impressed here with his first lesson (I didn't watch it all and I am guilty of jumping to a wrong conclusion there). BUT THEN I watched his electric guitar stuff and was blown away. I think I may subscribe to his site.

Aye for Siggi!

I think he has been an inspiration for many, many student players. He also seems like a real nice guy, very down to earth.

Good choice Gadman!

Agreed!

Very approachable and well thought out arrangements for the early intermediate player. There's a lot of practical info in each one and while not always 'pushing the envelope' of your skills, it's the day-to-day playing that makes the instrument so much fun. His lessons also give you material that your audience will enjoy, too.
