Not 100% sure he qualifies. He's made a pretty good living so far, as a touring guitarist. Check him out on Clapton's Crossroads 2007 as an opening act, and as part of EC's band. Was also part of Crossroads 2010 last month. And Roger Water's "In the Flesh" DVD as his backing guitarist.

He was raised in the heart of Texas blues, and even learn to play from the Vaughn brothers. His father as a drummer on that scene for years.

Even with all that his name is virtually unknown.

Aye think he deserves the AYE just for being able to play so well upside down. He is a lefty that just makes chords and such upside down on a right handed guitar. That amazes me! A guy at the church where I go now does that and I go :wow::wow::wow:

Aye, Aye, sir. I recall him playing in Clapton's band as the second guitarist (a role Albert Lee maintained for a number of years) and hearing him just smoke Clapton when his turn to solo came around. He's definitely the real deal. Just completed a session on Sheryl Crow's new album.

Like WVGMan says, a lefty thriving in a right-handed world.
