Muriel Anderson is the Boom Chick Diggity...!!!

See What I did there...!!!! If you're looking for Travis style 'Boom Chick' fingerstyle....look no further...!! I have about 6 0f her courses here on Truefire...and they are all great. I especially like the melodies of a bunch of her arrangements.....which makes them a joy to practice, learn, and play....Waiting On The Weather, Maybellish, Blue Bell, Riffle, It Never Gets Easier, El Noir De La Mare....all great tunes to learn and play.....THANKS Muriel....!!!

Breaking down fingerstyle guitar

After playing guitar with a pick for almost 20 years, I've started learning fingerstyle. I love how Muriel Anderson breaks down techniques and songs. Her strategy of teaching parts of songs, then playing a song, then breaking down the song, section by section, works great. In many Truefire courses, there comes a point when there is too big of a jump from one lesson to the next. In my experience, that hasn't happened with Muriel Anderson's lessons. I will definitely buy more of her courses!

Superb Teacher!

Muriel’s 1 2 3 Fingerstyle is amazing! I’ve basically only strummed and flat picked my whole life because I could never figure out how to play fingerstyle. This course is laid out in a way that she shows and teaches you the very basics to get going, all the way up to advanced techniques and songs! If you practice the lessons and follow the program, I guarantee that you will be playing fingerstyle sooner than you thought!

awesome instructor

If I can learn to play guitar half as good as she can it will be awesome

Better than a Music School

I've been a subscriber for right at 1 year and 3 months to Muriel's World of Fingerstyle and can only say thank you so much!! I can't begin to tell you how much your Channel and the Private lessons have helped my playing grow exponentially!! It's really pushed me to expand my limits, and has been improving my technique three-fold. It's taught me to really focus on details that I would have previously not picked up on, and provides invaluable ear training through the private video lessons and the 1/2 speed feature (I feel there's really not much that I can't work out and transcribe nowadays!). I'm stoked just thinking where I'll be in another year and three months!! Thank you Muriel (and TrueFire)!!
